Mary had a strong faith and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Wegan. She also belonged to the Ladies Aid at the church and served in various offices through the years. Mrs. Otte was employed as a secretary and bookkeeper at Medora Brick Co. for 25 years, and she was also a homemaker. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly, and she was loved beyond measure by them. She cherished spending time with her family, and she always loved it when they came to see and visit her. She was born in Seymour on April 22, 1986 to Jeffrey Kleber and Kimba (Hunnicutt) Applegate. Brittanni enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved listening to music and especially enjoyed seeing live bands. She especially liked classic rock including Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead. However, she will be remembered first and foremost as a devoted mother to her nine-year-old son, Ruger. Caring for him was the most important part and true focus of her life. She attended Immanuel Lutheran School and Shields High School. She was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in North Vernon and Ladies Aid. She enjoyed camping with family and friends and traveling to Scotland. She retired from Hill-Rom Industries after 27 years of service.
